2009 Mayfest a Huge Success

This year's Mayfest surpassed previous years for its fun, sounds of music, and numbers in attendance. Beginning at 10 am family-friendly fun sections drew people in with displays of arts, crafts, and food. Music started at midday. The main event occurred on stage at 4:30 with The Legends of Surf Music - Al Jardine, David Marks (original Beach Boys) and Dean Torrence (Jan and Dean). Organizers called it the "largest one-day event on the eastern seaboard."
