Skipping the 18-hour drive, five people took Sunday's first arriving 2-hour flight from Toronto to Myrtle Beach via Porter Airways. Not only were family and friends waiting, the media, too, offered plenty of fanfare, balloons, bright lights and "Welcome" greetings! Representatives of the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce handed out vacation tote bags filled with complementary items. "Now we can come down for golf 3 and 4 times a year," said one Toronto traveler.
