Local Weekly Newspaper Wins Award

Deemed truly a hometown newspaper covering hometown interests, The North Myrtle Beach Times was honored last week by the South Carolina Lieutenant Governor's Office on Aging. Its publisher Polly Lowman received the award on behind of the entire staff on October 15th at The Time's office. The Lt. Governor Andre Bauer presented the award, saying "Polly and her staff work tirelessly to insure that senior issues reach the community through the print media."
