Robert Edge Parkway Now Open

Now you can drive directly from Main Street in NMB on to Edge Parkway, then to Highway 31 or Highway 9. On September 3, 2009, the long awaited connector between NMB and the Carolina Bays Parkway received traffic for the first time. Named for Robert Edge, the first Mayor of NMB, this road makes convenient, safe, and efficient what was a long, circuitous route from NMB to major transportation arteries to the west of town.
