Wildfires No Threat to Beach Vacationers

For the past two days, news reports have carried vivid images of wildfires that scorched 15,000+ forested acres west of the Grand Strand. Hard-working emergency fire fighters and the community rallied to aid those affected. At no time have ocean vacation spots such as Avista been threatened, in part because of our location on the ocean side of The Intracoastal Waterway. The Sounds of Summer party on 4/25 is still on!
