The course is located at the confluence of the Intracoastal Waterway and the Lockwood Folly River, providing golfers with breathtaking vistas of tidal estuary, moss covered hard- woods and the solitude of nature. Tree lined, nonparallel fairways winding through hardwoods and pine afford a sense of seclusion while challanged with championship golf. Our Willard Byrd masterful design drew 1988 nominations as a top 10 new course in North Carolina, and awarded in Golf Digest 2000 as a 4 star "Places to Play." Many of our picturesque holes demand accurate shot making from tee to green. Either nine, front or back, provides golfers with a full range of shot selections.
