Jellyfish-Beautiful and Yet Powerful

Beautiful but potentially painful, jellyfish sometimes come to the ocean's shoreline by late summer. While not everyone has a problem with jellyfish "kisses," some swimmers can suffer an allergic reaction to their sting. Knowing your potential for allergies and how to treat a jellyfish sting is a good preventative for complications: exit the water, flush the bite with vinegar, calm yourself, watch for reactions, and seek medical attention before problems grow.
