FAMILY VACATION NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

Soon the beach will be empty, no longer full of chairs, umbrellas and sunbathers. The malls will only be crowded on the weekends, and school will not be on the mind of shoppers, as Christmas is just around the corner. Summer 2006 is fading fast and making way for fall, when a very different type of guest takes over resort. Yes, it's almost that time...when the pace slows down and the empty nesters & golfers can come down and still enjoy the great weather without having to fight the crowds and wait in line at the restaurants.

We would like to thank all our summer patrons who helped make this season a great success. Please know that all the comments and suggestions sent in will receive the utmost attention as the goal of our management is to make Avista your vacation destination for years to come.

At this time our golf department is gearing up for a very busy golf season. Our new and long awaited golf book should be heading your way soon but just in case you do not receive it do give us a call as we would not like you to miss out on the latest specials and golf happenings .

Our Food & Beverage team has already started planning some great entrees for our special golf dinners ..don’t just bring your golf clubs bring your appetite as well and be ready to try out the 20oz Cowboy steak at the end of the day. From check-in to checkout, the staff is ready to make any golf groups stay at the Avista a stay to remember. After all, that's what we're here for.

If golf is not for you , Abbey our concierge will be happy to offer you the latest show line ups , various festivals that Myrtle Beach is famous for at this time of the year or just point you in the direction of the best shopping deals in town .

GUEST COMMENTS
Here's what our guests are saying about us...

The room was amazing and well laid out with a beautiful view. We ended up in Myrtle Beach for our vacation unexpectedly when a trip to the Bahamas had to be canceled at the last minute. Everyone in the family was disappointed until we arrived at your resort. The staff was so accommodating and the resort was so beautiful that you saved us from disappointment and we ended up having a wonderful time at this alternative vacation spot. We will definitely be recommending your resort to others and thank you for a wonderful vacation Robert Dixon, Rock Taqvern, New York
