Employee Spotlight
BillieJean Kaemmerling
Assistant Director of Reservations/Revenue Management

There are so many great people working at our Resort, but surely among the top-three nicest people at the Avista is a young lady located up on the second floor in the reservations department. BillieJean Kaemmerling has been with Avista for two years, and in that time, has become not only a guest favorite when calling in to make reservations, but also a welcomed sight each morning by every member of the team---thanks to her positive work ethic and her desire to create a pleasant environment for others. Calm and collected under pressure, BillieJean can be counted on to carefully resolve any situation in the best way possible---no small feat in this industry!

Mom to one spoiled (but sweet!) Apricot poodle named Polly, BillieJean spends her time away from the office attending to her perky pooch's needs, participating in church functions and spending time with her family and friends.

The three words co-workers use to describe BillieJean? Genuine, Kind and Conscientious.

GUEST COMMENTS
Here's what our guests are saying about us...

I was most impressed with the cleanliness and special touches found in the condo (the pretty fanned towels and tissues). The room service was the best I have ever experienced. The food arrived very quickly and was piping hot! Every encounter was exceptional. We will definitely recommend Avista to our friends and stay again when we visit NMB. Thanks for a relaxing weekend. January Guest

The Avista is a beautiful place to spend vacation time. It seems to have everything. We really enjoyed our stay and the Staff was extremely helpful. Thank You! January Guest

Avista is our favorite resort in North Myrtle Beach. Your resort is always our first choice. We love the ocean view rooms, which have a fantastic view of the ocean and the indoor pool. I also enjoy your fitness center. The front desk staffs have always been very helpful and have made our stay a very pleasant experience. January Guest

I really enjoyed my stay at Avista Resort. The room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. It had all the amenities of a high-class resort, but yet the price was very reasonable. The front desk staff was very courteous, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this resort to all my friends and family. January Guest

We are especially impressed with the staff -- everyone, the housekeepers, and maintenance staff, fellow by the pool door -- always greeted us and made us feel welcome. Good story -- when my husband was moving our luggage to our room, he unknowingly dropped his Virginia Tech sweatshirt in the lobby. The staff member who checked us in remembered our license plate " Hokie 81" and figured the sweatshirt probably belonged to us and returned it promptly. Nice service! January Guest

The resort staff made our golf trip an exciting and rewarding weekend. Thanks for their customer service and focus on making it special.

The hotel was beautiful. The maid service was excellent. I would definitely stay here in the future.
