FAMILY VACATION NEWSLETTER

Dear Friends,

If you visited us this summer, you probably saw their smiling faces or heard their thick accents. Maybe Dave or Demelza checked you in at the Front Desk or perhaps Barbara, Slawomir or Lukasz helped you with your luggage. If you got a burger at the pool grill, Ivo probably made it and if you ordered room service, Manol probably delivered it. This fall the Avista staff has been saying farewell to their international coworkers and friends. Someone once said "Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget." We will never forget the moments we've shared with them and the impacts they've had on our lives. We wish them luck and happiness in the future. They will be missed and to them we say Doei! (Dutch) Czesc! (Polish) and Dovizhdane! (Bulgarian.) Goodbye!

  Golf News

With the holidays quickly approaching, most men are asking themselves one thing "How can I get out of going shopping with the wife?" Lucky for you, the golf specialists at the Avista have the answer to this age-old question, a round of golf on one of Myrtle Beach's 100 plus golf courses! Just imagine 4 ˝ hours of peace and quiet, no screaming children, no assault strollers, just you, nature and a little white ball. Sounds great, right? So give the golf department a call at 1-800-682-5699 and let them arrange a round of golf at any of the area's top courses for a great price! You won't regret it!

  Reservations News

The reservations staff for Myrtle Beach Seaside Resorts has been busy getting to know FRED. Now FRED is not a person, it is a customer service training program that all reservationists are required to attend. We believe in the value of on going training for our staff and earlier this year, we introduced FRED as a way of enhancing the guest experience and providing the "Wow!" factor hotels we must deliver on a daily basis. Part of the FRED training includes test phone calls to the reservationists. This month, we would like to congratulate Barbara for scoring 100% on her test call! Way to go Barbara!

GUEST COMMENTS
Here's what our guests are saying about us...

Every aspect of our stay is rated above expectations. The room was spotless; the personnel were pleasant, efficient and always available and knowledgeable. We vacation in Myrtle Beach often and stayed at many resorts but Avista rates highest of any in our experience! Joseph Nosil

We have stayed at the Avista 4 times now. The first time we came here was shortly after the hotel opened. I told my husband that this is the only place in NMB I want to stay. It is the cleanest and most well maintained hotel in the area. We have recommended this hotel to our family and friends, some of whom have already visited. Keep up the good work! We will be back soon… Chad Bohemier

I am a travel agent and I will recommend this resort to my clients it was great! Shannon Harper

We have stayed with you on four occasions, and have recommended the Avista to all our friends. On this trip, we were responsible for 18 guests staying with you. All are planning a return trip. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Ms. Judith Thatcher
