Watch Where You Drive that Golf Cart

For those renting electric-powered golf carts to get around North Myrtle Beach during your vacation, a word of caution. It is illegal to drive a golf cart on Ocean Boulevard. Doing so can result in an $82 fine by the Cherry Grove traffic police. Yet, do not look for a sign that golf carts cannot be driven beyond Spring Street because there is none. Sidewalk driving for golf carts is not allowed, either. Bicycles, however, are allowed.
