The 4th of July isn't like any other holiday because we all know that going to the beach to watch fireworks is the best. But we also have many other fun things you can do events, such as duck races, pie-eating contests, and letters to our beloved soldiers. Another fun activity you can do on your own is flying a kite on the beach in the evening and enjoying the live entertainment we have.

This year, instead of cooking on the 4th of July, join us at Avista Resort for our Annual Cookout from noon until 2:00 pm. On Friday, we will be hosting a cookout out of this world from the Sandbar Bar & Grill. The cost per adult is $21.95 per plate, and for children 10 years old and under, the cost is $14.95 per plate, plus taxes. Some of the amazing food that you’ll get to taste are:

Fireworks
And for those looking to sit back and relax to watch the fireworks, we suggest heading to a few places around town. Fireworks at Barefoot Landing have some of the best fireworks shows in the North Myrtle Beach area. You can catch the lights in the sky around 10:00 pm. Some other fireworks around town will be held at Broadway at the Beach at 10:00 pm, and at the Cherry Grove Pier, where you can watch the fireworks over the ocean at 9:30 pm. Don’t let the family miss out on the fireworks around town while you vacation with us.
