Gathered in Gratitude: Thanksgiving at Avista Resort

This past Thanksgiving, Avista Resort was proud to welcome guests and members of our local community for a heartwarming holiday dinner filled with great food, meaningful moments, and plenty of smiles. Our ballroom was beautifully decorated to set the tone for a festive and inviting evening, thoughtfully arranged to comfortably accommodate all who joined us to celebrate.

Guests enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving feast that truly hit the spot, but what made the evening especially memorable was the sense of togetherness felt throughout the room. Many attendees shared personal photos that were displayed on the big screen, creating a touching backdrop of cherished memories, family, and friendship. Laughter echoed across the ballroom as stories were shared, connections were made, and gratitude was celebrated in true holiday spirit.

We are incredibly thankful to our Food & Beverage staff as they put together an amazing menu and event that really kicked off Avista's holiday season the best way possible! Thank you to everyone who joined us to make this Thanksgiving dinner another special annual occasion. Events like these remind us that Avista Resort is more than a place to stay, it truly is a place where memories are made and community comes together!

Where Every Holiday Gathering Feels Right at Home

As December arrived, the Avista Resort ballroom was transformed into a festive holiday setting, ready to host a variety of seasonal gatherings. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, the space became the backdrop for multiple events, highlighting Avista’s ability to accommodate groups of all sizes for many different occasions.

Throughout the month, Avista proudly welcomed multiple company holiday parties, including celebrations for Tri-County Mechanical Inc. Heating & Air Conditioning and McKenzie Supply Co. Both groups enjoyed the flexibility and comfort of the ballroom as they gathered to celebrate the season with their teams. Guests shared how much they appreciated the spacious layout, festive atmosphere, and attentive service that helped make their events feel seamless and special!

In addition to hosting community and corporate gatherings, the ballroom was also enjoyed by our own team during a few holiday celebrations, showcasing the versatility of the space for everything from company parties to private events.

Cheers to 2026: A New Year’s Celebration to Remember

Avista Resort closed out the year with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration that truly brought the house down. Guests gathered for an evening filled with incredible food, nonstop dancing, and festive energy as we counted down to midnight together. The celebration kicked off with a stylish cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception in the Tree Top Lounge, which quickly became a guest favorite. The relaxed yet elevated atmosphere set the tone for the evening, as guests enjoyed handcrafted cocktails and beautifully presented bites while mingling and taking in the festive surroundings.

The night continued with an electric performance by our new band, The Entertainers, who kept the dance floor packed and the party going strong all the way until the clock struck twelve. As confetti filled the air and cheers echoed throughout the room, guests rang in 2026 surrounded by laughter, music, and holiday excitement. A special thank-you goes to our Staff and our Food & Beverage team for curating an outstanding New Year’s Eve dinner menu and flawlessly facilitating such a smooth and memorable event. Their hard work and dedication were on full display throughout the night which makes this evening another success year after year!

For those who kept the celebration going, the fun continued into the new year with our New Year’s Day Brunch, another guest favorite. With delicious food, smiling faces, and beautiful live music, it was the perfect way to start 2026 on a high note. To everyone who chose to celebrate New Year’s Eve and Day with us, thank you for making the night so special.
